A collage of elements intended to depict and pay homage to "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa", describing the indifference force that the elements of nature possess against any who face it. The whale which is meant to depict a sacred gift from the sea, a deity and provider. The Rising Sun of Japan, meant to depict new beginnings and hope.

All of these elements together from a STFC point of view, are meant to depict the "whales" or ops 70+ players giving back to lower ops alliance members (the fishermen on boats) and giving them purpose and hope (the Rising Sun), to ride out the storm of new tasks (Surge events) laid forth within the game.
